Scouting for Food: Scouting for Food is the largest one-day food drive in the Boy Scouts of America. Started in 1985 in the St. Louis area, Scouting for Food has expanded to other councils across the country.  Each year, our Scouts, leaders and parents collect hundreds of canned food items and dry good that are used to stock the Lake Cities food pantry to be distributed to homeless and less fortunate families
Family Picnic: Our Pack has two Family Picnics each year, one in the Fall and a Graduation Picnic in May. Come spend a Saturday afternoon playing games, eating good food and talking with friends. 
Blue and Gold Banquet: The Boy Scouts of America was first chartered on February 8th, 1910. We celebrate the birth month of Scouting in America with our annual Blue and Gold Banquet.  The banquet is a time to celebrate a great Scouting year, recognize our Scout's achievements and thank our volunteers for all their work.  It's also the time when our 2nd year Webelos Scouts bridge into Boy Scouts.

Welcome to Pack 424 of Lake Dallas, Tx!

We are a Cub Scout Pack that serves the Shady Shores and Lake Dallas Elementary School districts.  Our Pack is made up of Dens of 6 to 8 boys in the same grade.  Dens will typically meet 2 or 3 times per month and work on their Rank requirements together as well as go on hikes and field trips, work on craft projects and play lots of games.  Every 3rd Monday of the month, the entire Pack comes together for a Pack meeting where we give out awards and the Dens put on skits, tell jokes and play more games.  We also have at least one Pack activity each month such as picnics, campouts, derbies and movie nights. Come join in the fun!
